CHEC Arabia awarded a new contract by Saudi Aramco to construct 2 artificial islands:

On Sep 11, 2018, CHEC Arabia was awarded a contract titled “Berri drilling Islands under Berri Increment Program” and the contract was signed by Mr. Wu Yuansheng – Country Manager of our JV Company “CHEC Arabia” with Mr. Fahad Al Helal – Vice President, Project Management, Saudi Aramco.

Under the contract, China Harbour will construct two drilling islands near shore at the north and south sides of the King Fahad Industrial Port causeway in Jubail, with a causeway connecting the corniche to South Island and a bridge to North Island. It is an EPC –LSTK contract with a contract duration of 28 months. The two islands shall have an area of 616,553 square meters and 263,855 square meters respectively.
