Year 2010 was a promising year. In 2010, two new companies have joined the ranks of Rafid Group.
ZP Arabia Drilling Co (ZPADC) manage to secure 10 rig contracts in with a total valued of USD 250 million. Seven were directly contracted with Saudi Aramco, while the remaining three was contracted under Halliburton.
China Harbour Arabia (CHEAC) secured the USD 85 million contract for the engineering, procurement and construction of New Berths 5 & 6 in Ras Az Zur with SEAPA.
CTCI Arabia manage to secure three new projects in Jubail & Yanbu from SABIC worth over USD 600 million.
CC-7 Arabia also secured a USD 18 million sub contract work in Jubail Export Refinery Project (SATORP the main EPC contractor Petrol Steel (a subsidiary of Rafid Group).
Asia Steel (ASCL) has started operations early 2010 and has secured contracts and orders from SABIC, Saudi Aramco and SEAPA totaling around USD 26 million.
Sander Geophysics (SGAL) has successfully completed its airborne magnetic and radiometric survey of Saudi Arabia’s Western Region with Saudi Aramco.
