Petrol Steel Co., Ltd. (PSCL), a company that specializes in the design and construction of storage tank terminals, has celebrated the graduation of 62 Saudi Arabian nationals from the Jubail Technical Institute (JTI), where they have trained for specific technical skills.

This comes in line with the strategic plans of Petrol Steel in strengthening the company’s capability and its pursuit of excellence with qualified technical Saudi cadres. It is important to note, that these programs will be occurring annually with JTI and other local technical colleges.

ZP Arabia has successfully secured a total of seven contracts so far this year for oil drilling and workover services to Saudi Aramco.

Of the seven rigs that recently awarded, two were awarded in the second quarter of 2011 and 2 were awarded on the third quarter of 2011, while the last three were secured in the month of November 2011. The total value of the seven contracts awarded is over USD 400 million.

BGP Arabia has successfully secured three seismic contracts with Saudi Aramco for conducting 2D and 3D seismic surveys in several regions of Saudi Arabia. All three contracts are the first of its kind (with high channels) for Saudi Aramco. The value of the three contracts is over USD 800 million and has a base period of 5 years with an optional of one year extension.
