“ZP Arabia Drilling Co Ltd” (ZPADCo)
is a Saudi – Chinese Joint Venture Company established in association
with ZPEB International, P.R China in the year 2001.
ZPEB International is a division of
Zhongyuan Petroleum Exploration Bureau – a subsidiary of China
Petrochemical Corporation – SINOPEC.
ZPEB is the largest drilling
contractor in China having more than 120 drilling rigs of various
capacities for Drilling & Workover operations. The electrical rigs
owned by ZPEB can drill down to a depth of 9000m.
ZP Arabia Drilling Co Ltd in Saudi
Arabia is one of the admirable drilling contractors of Saudi Aramco and
at present has 15 rig contracts with Saudi Aramco.
ZPADC secured its first contract in
Jan 2001 followed by a series of contracts secured every year with total
now reaching 15 rigs in the Kingdom. The capacities of the rigs range
from 750 HP to 2000HP. The value of the total 15 rig contracts is over
USD 400 million and with duration of 3 years plus optional 2 year
extension each rig.

Sino-1 contract with Saudi Aramco in Jan 2001.

Saudi Aramco for drilling a vertical oil producer in 13.95 days.

Sino-1 with Saudi Aramco in Oct 2003.

Secured two workover rig
contracts with Saudi Aramco in 2nd quarter of 2004 with Saudi
Aramco.

Saudi Aramco in the 3rd /4th quarter of 2005.

Received appreciation from the
Executive Director of Drilling & Workover for expediting the
mobilization of the rigs secured in 2005.
